PROCESS--------

each piece is concepted, illustrated and designed by megan. all pieces are hand-fed letterpress or foil (one by one) on vintage presses. this slow process allows for every piece of printed material to be produced by hand - quality is at the forefront.

SUSTAINABILITY--------

we proudly commit ourselves to using fully recyclable materials and packaging. our recent packaging rebrand has allowed us to remove plastic from all facets of our product (yes, even the stickers and their adhesive are fully recyclable). our planet is a priority and we go above and beyond to ensure that we are doing our part with the materials we put out into the world.

the papers we work with are recyclable and the entire letterpress process is sustainable. there are no motors on any of our presses, everything is manual (including the inking).

STUDIO--------

all designs and printing happen in a small studio on the north shore of long island, new york.  moving out of brooklyn after a decade of renting spaces, megan and her husband set down roots in a small sailing village right on the coast and welcomed twins this past year. the space has been going through renovations and the studio is constantly evolving.

BEGINNINGS--------

megan studied art history in california, then found herself in the photo world of nyc, and all the while kept coming back to her love of print.  she had spent the last decade working in print production for top designers in the fashion + visual world. she started tiny bones press a couple of years back to have an excuse to keep making things. the process of design and letterpress feels really good and right and once she found that, she had to keep doing it.
