i honestly don’t know how we are almost to may already.
i hope you are doing alright. i know everyone is having their own experience right now. i hope it’s not one of despair for you.
i will send out a longer email this friday to provide more of a recap from our studio - but for now, let’s just take a quick moment to think about mama.
that mother figure can take many forms - but it does come down to the foundation of what that means. someone who nurtures you, who supports you, who is there for you no-matter-what.
there’s no love like a mama’s love and that title is not inclusive. it’s whomever you feel it to be.
that love deserves some extra special attention always, but why not do it on a day when there is a collective energy around it?
i encourage you to reach out to those you love in your life who fill this role for you, a friend who fills this role for someone else - or to take an internal moment to feel that role within yourself.
this does not have to be with a physical gift or display of affection - we both know those are hard in this current global crisis - just connect. a call, a text, an email, a card. let them know you appreciate them.
